About this Black Spider with Witch Hat Lavender Roses Central Spiderweb embroidery pattern
Black Spider with Witch Hat Lavender Roses Central Spiderweb brings celestial and botanical details into a hand-embroidery composition. Study the colored design and outline together before choosing which shapes to shade, outline or simplify. The supplied guide identifies these motifs: black spider with witch hat; large central spiderweb; lavender and ivory roses; dark botanical stems; curling black-and-gray scrolls; crescent moons; occult-style symbols; stars and knot dots.
The colored image is a design reference. Thread, fabric and your stitch choices will affect the finished result. Preserve the open spaces around the smaller motifs and test difficult fills on a spare piece of fabric before stitching the main design.

Choose your hoop size
The outline pages are labeled for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 inch hoops. Measure the printed design before transfer, because printer margins and fit-to-page settings can affect its dimensions.
The stitch guide recommends 8" / 20 cm HOOP for this design.
A larger version gives fine contours and clustered motifs more room. Select the size that preserves the details you want to stitch.

Stitching sequence
- Transfer and structural framework Transfer the central spider, all eight leg angles, pointed witch hat, large upper spiderweb, curling side scrolls, rose stems, leaf groups, crescent moons, symbols, stars and knot-dot placements before any dense filling.
- Main focal element Build the spider first with black and pewter long-and-short shading. Follow abdomen and thorax contours, taper each leg lengthwise, and preserve slim pale highlights so the body stays dimensional against the ivory ground.
- Secondary large element Stitch the pointed witch hat above the thorax, shaping the crown and brim with controlled satin direction. Add the pale lavender band and buckle, then complete the large central spiderweb with fine gray spokes and curved rings.
- Foliage / supporting motifs Work lavender and ivory roses from outer petals toward their centers, then add dark green stems, buds and leaves. Let the botanical sprays arc inward around the spider while keeping clean clearance around the leg tips.
- Small decorative details Add the black-and-gray scrollwork, crescent moons, side symbols, starbursts and scattered lavender, cream and charcoal knots. Keep linework light and evenly spaced so the ornament remains airy around the floral frame.
- Final accents, dimensional details, cleanup, and blocking Refine spider leg joints, abdomen highlights, hat edges, rose centers, leaf veins, web intersections, crescent contours and raised dots. Remove transfer marks and block gently. Confirm spider first, hat and web second, then roses, foliage and celestial ornament
