About this Witch Hat Spider, Pumpkins and Autumn Leaves embroidery pattern

The spider's centered body and eight tapered legs sit beneath open web geometry, with the orange hat providing a small warm accent. The pumpkin trio anchors the lower ring, balanced by mustard and charcoal leaf branches above. Acorn caps and scattered knots add texture without competing with the legs. Sage vines soften the dark subject, while cream flowers and small stars brighten the clear spaces between larger autumn shapes.

The colored image is a design reference. Thread, fabric and your stitch choices will affect the finished result. Preserve the open spaces around the smaller motifs and test difficult fills on a spare piece of fabric before stitching the main design.

Choose your hoop size

The outline pages are labeled for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 inch hoops. Measure the printed design before transfer, because printer margins and fit-to-page settings can affect its dimensions.

The stitch guide recommends 8" / 20 cm HOOP for this design.

A larger version gives fine contours and clustered motifs more room. Select the size that preserves the details you want to stitch.

Color and stitch guidance

Stitching sequence

  1. Transfer the spider and hat, web spokes, three pumpkins, three acorns and main branch arcs.
  2. Establish the fine web, then shade the spider and orange hat with all eight legs clearly separated.
  3. Build the three pumpkins along their lobes and stitch the mustard, sage and cream leaf ring.
  4. Finish acorn caps, tiny flowers, berry dots and stars; refine the hat buckle and web joins last.
