About this Botanical Spider Web with Potion Bottles and Crescent Moons embroidery pattern
Botanical Spider Web with Potion Bottles and Crescent Moons brings celestial and botanical details into a hand-embroidery composition. Study the colored design and outline together before choosing which shapes to shade, outline or simplify. The supplied guide identifies these motifs: Central spider web, three labeled potion bottles, two crescent moons, one pale celestial disc, leafy and lavender-like sprays, berry clusters, stars/dots and light- blue reflective accents.
The colored image is a design reference. Thread, fabric and your stitch choices will affect the finished result. Preserve the open spaces around the smaller motifs and test difficult fills on a spare piece of fabric before stitching the main design.

Choose your hoop size
The outline pages are labeled for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 inch hoops. Measure the printed design before transfer, because printer margins and fit-to-page settings can affect its dimensions.
The stitch guide recommends 8" / 20 cm HOOP for this design.
A larger version gives fine contours and clustered motifs more room. Select the size that preserves the details you want to stitch.
Color and stitch guidance

Stitching sequence
- Transfer and structural framework Transfer the web center/rings, three bottles, two crescents, pale celestial disc and all botanical stems. Backstitch the 310 web framework with 1 strand, checking radial symmetry before filled motifs.
- Main focal element Complete the central web in 310/3799, spokes center-to-edge and curved rings between them. Add 3756 reflective points sparingly after the black geometry is stable.
- Secondary large element Shade ELIXIR in 154/815, SERUM in 500/501 and TONIC in 310/3799; keep label fields 3865/B5200 and stitch the small lettering last with 1 strand.
- Foliage / supporting motifs Stem botanical arcs first, then fishbone leaves in 500/501/522. Work lavender-like spikes in 3041/3740 and keep negative space around bottle silhouettes.
- Small decorative details Blend the burgundy and green crescents, fill the pale disc in 3865, then add 729/3829 stars, corks, branches plus berry/flower knots and white celestial accents.
- Final accents, dimensional details, cleanup, and blocking Refine labels and star points, balance reflective dots, remove transfer marks and damp-block lightly so web spokes stay straight and circular motifs do not distort
