About this Crow Candle Celestial Web Wreath embroidery pattern
Crow Candle Celestial Web Wreath brings celestial and botanical details into a hand-embroidery composition. Study the colored design and outline together before choosing which shapes to shade, outline or simplify. The supplied guide identifies these motifs: A short burning candle anchors the lower-left of the bird, while an ivy wreath, orange berries, crescent moons, stars and spiderwebs create a ritual-like circular frame. Value hierarchy: Deepest values sit in the crow, wick and black dots. Brightest values are cream moons/ web highlights and the candle flame. Gold crescents bridge the dark bird and warm orange berries. Approach: Keep web lines and celestial marks delicate; reserve denser fills for crow, candle, moons and leaves.
The colored image is a design reference. Thread, fabric and your stitch choices will affect the finished result. Preserve the open spaces around the smaller motifs and test difficult fills on a spare piece of fabric before stitching the main design.

Choose your hoop size
The outline pages are labeled for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 inch hoops. Measure the printed design before transfer, because printer margins and fit-to-page settings can affect its dimensions.
A larger version gives fine contours and clustered motifs more room. Select the size that preserves the details you want to stitch.

Stitching sequence
- Establish the circular framework Trace the ivy stem, main web anchors and crescent placements with 1 strand so the symmetry stays controlled.
- Build the crow Outline in 3799/310, then layer 413 and 317 highlights along feather groups. Keep wing rows distinct rather than filling as one flat area.
- Work candle and flame Use 920/921/3826 for wax and 729 + 3866 for the flame, leaving darker grooves beside drips for volume.
- Complete foliage and berries Stem stitch the vine, fishbone the sage leaves, then place rust and gold knot clusters around the wreath.
- Add moons, stars and webs Fill crescents cleanly, then add 1-strand starbursts and the layered spiderwebs with light tension.
- Finish dot field and cleanup Add scattered black, rust and gold knots last, check line spacing and remove visible travel threads
