About this Smoking Cauldron with Potion Bottles Lavender Herbs and Celestial embroidery pattern
Smoking Cauldron with Potion Bottles Lavender Herbs and Celestial brings celestial and botanical details into a hand-embroidery composition. Study the colored design and outline together before choosing which shapes to shade, outline or simplify. The supplied guide identifies these motifs: Dark teal smoking cauldron; seven potion bottles; three potted herb/flower plants including lavender-like sprigs; deep teal and olive botanical wreath; cream/copper crescents, stars, berries and celestial dots.
The colored image is a design reference. Thread, fabric and your stitch choices will affect the finished result. Preserve the open spaces around the smaller motifs and test difficult fills on a spare piece of fabric before stitching the main design.

Choose your hoop size
The outline pages are labeled for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 inch hoops. Measure the printed design before transfer, because printer margins and fit-to-page settings can affect its dimensions.
The stitch guide recommends 8" / 20 cm HOOP for this design.
A larger version gives fine contours and clustered motifs more room. Select the size that preserves the details you want to stitch.

Stitching sequence
- Transfer and structural framework Transfer the cauldron, seven bottles, three potted plants, main wreath stems, principal crescents, stars and steam curls; mark only the larger celestial knotclusters and berry placements.
- Main focal element Build the cauldron first from its dark teal body outward, following the roundedvessel form; keep the rim elliptical, handles symmetrical and lower feet crisp, then reinforce the darkest seams after the fill settles.
- Secondary large element Work the seven potion bottles and three pots next, keeping bottle glass lighterthan the cauldron; add corks, labels, liquid fills and the lavender/herb clusterswhile preserving clean ivory gaps between vessels.
- Foliage / supporting motifs Establish the deep teal and olive wreath branches, then stitch leaves withfishbone direction following each midrib; add the taller herb stems and roundflower heads before filling small botanical gaps.
- Small decorative details Add cream and copper crescent moons, stars, starbursts, pale blossoms, bottle glints, berry dots and celestial knots; keep the upper field airy so thesteam remains the dominant fine-line element.
- Final accents, dimensional details, cleanup, and blocking Stitch the cream-and-copper steam curls last over stable surrounding work, sharpen the cauldron rim, balance knot density, trim dark carries behind palemotifs, and block gently from the reverse over padding
