Stitching sequence

  1. PHASES 1. TRANSFER + STRUCTURAL FRAME Transfer the ghost, teapot, three pumpkins, three bats, two spiderweb cups, hanging tea bags, main foliage arcs and the lettering baseline. Mark the largest stars and spirals only. Start with one-strand 3051/3799 structural stems, tea-bag cords and primary dark contours so all major spacing is locked before filling. 2. CENTRAL GHOST Build the ghost first in 712 shadow zones, then cover toward 3865 highlights. Follow the vertical drape and fan stitches through each hem scallop so the cloth appears soft. Keep side folds and the underside of the arms slightly darker. Add the black eyes and curved smile only after the white fill is smooth and fully settled. 3. TEAPOT, CUP + POUR Shape the teapot belly in 154/3740/3041 with curved long-and-short rows; deepen the underside, lid and handle base in 3799. Satin the crescent and stars in 729. Work the small receiving cup in violet, then add the pale 3756 poured stream and steam curls in one strand so they stay translucent and separate from the ghost. 4. PUMPKINS + BATS Fill pumpkin grooves with 3777/920 and blend into 921 on raised ribs, keeping stems and tendrils in 3051/3052. Add the right pumpkin face and lower pumpkin face in one-strand black. Satin the three bats in 310 from body to wing tips; keep wing edges sharp and let small eye dots remain tiny. 5. CUPS, TEA BAGS + BOTANICAL WREATH Stitch the two spiderweb teacups in 154/3740/3041, then lay one-strand 310 web spokes and arcs. Fill tea-bag tags in 712 with 729 crescents. Fishbone sage leaves in 3051/3052/3053, satin/fishbone purple leaves in 3740/3041 and pad orange berries with 920/921. 6. LETTERING + FINAL MAGIC Backstitch "TEA FOR GHOSTS" in one strand of 310, preserving the hand-drawn spacing. Add teal stars in 3768, gold stars/crescents in 729, tiny purple crosses, spirals and remaining tendrils. Balance empty fabric between motifs, erase transfer marks, steam lightly from the reverse and block the circular design flat
