About this Teal Crow Twisted Autumn Vine Wreath embroidery pattern
Teal Crow Twisted Autumn Vine Wreath brings celestial and botanical details into a hand-embroidery composition. Study the colored design and outline together before choosing which shapes to shade, outline or simplify. The supplied guide identifies these motifs: A twisted branch and vine border wraps the lower and right side, with smaller leafy sprigs on the upper and left. Rust berries and tiny starbursts create rhythmic accents around the open negative space. Value hierarchy: Near-black crow shadows and dark brown branch twists are the deepest values. Copper berries and leaves provide warm midtones; muted olive and blue-green foliage bridge the palette. Embroidery approach: Establish the crow and structural branch first, then build the wreath outward. Keep small stars and berries raised but restrained so they support rather than compete with the bird.
The colored image is a design reference. Thread, fabric and your stitch choices will affect the finished result. Preserve the open spaces around the smaller motifs and test difficult fills on a spare piece of fabric before stitching the main design.

Choose your hoop size
The outline pages are labeled for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 inch hoops. Measure the printed design before transfer, because printer margins and fit-to-page settings can affect its dimensions.
A larger version gives fine contours and clustered motifs more room. Select the size that preserves the details you want to stitch.

Stitching sequence
- Transfer structural lines Mark the crow silhouette, branch intersections and major vine arcs first. Keep small berry and star placement light until the large shapes are secure.
- Build the crow Split-stitch the outline, then fill head, body, wing and tail in directional long- and-short stitching, reserving 924/926 for the cool teal sheen.
- Define feather structure Add wing feather rows, tail separations, eye, beak, feet and the narrow dark channels that make individual feathers readable.
- Work the branch framework Stem-stitch the twisted brown branch and curling vines from thickest structural sections toward fine tendrils, adding lighter ridges only where visible.
- Add foliage and berries Fill teal, olive and rust leaves with fishbone/satin stitches; then form the berry clusters with controlled knots in 3777/920/921.
- Finish accents and cleanup Add copper/gold starbursts and scattered knots, refine branch highlights, check symmetry of the open border, and secure all thread ends cleanly
