About this Celestial Pumpkin Teapot with Blackberry Wreath and Autumn Leaves embroidery pattern
Celestial Pumpkin Teapot with Blackberry Wreath and Autumn Leaves brings celestial and botanical details into a hand-embroidery composition. Study the colored design and outline together before choosing which shapes to shade, outline or simplify. The supplied guide identifies these motifs: Central pumpkin-shaped teapot with crescent-and-star decoration, curling steam, an enclosing blackberry-and-foliage wreath, autumn leaves and small gold dot accents.
The colored image is a design reference. Thread, fabric and your stitch choices will affect the finished result. Preserve the open spaces around the smaller motifs and test difficult fills on a spare piece of fabric before stitching the main design.

Choose your hoop size
The outline pages are labeled for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 inch hoops. Measure the printed design before transfer, because printer margins and fit-to-page settings can affect its dimensions.
The stitch guide recommends 8" / 20 cm HOOP for this design.
A larger version gives fine contours and clustered motifs more room. Select the size that preserves the details you want to stitch.
Color and stitch guidance

Stitching sequence
- Transfer and structural framework Mark the teapot body, lid, spout, handle, lobe seams, crescent/star motifs, steam curls and full circular vine path; keep 1-strand guides light so the ivory ground stays clean.
- Main focal element Build the pumpkin teapot in 920/921/922 with 3821 centers; follow vertical lobe arcs, keep 938/3799 seams narrow, and preserve the rounded silhouette.
- Secondary large element Work spout, lid, stem and handle with 3821/938/3799, then add the 3865 crescent, stars and highlights; keep handle stitches flowing with the curl.
- Foliage / supporting motifs Stem-stitch the enclosing wreath first, then fishbone 3011-3013/3052 foliage and 920-922 autumn leaves; alternate leaf angles to preserve the circular rhythm.
- Small decorative details Build blackberries with 310/3799 raised knots, then sage/gold clusters in 3013/3052/676; add 3865 steam curls and isolated gold dots only after the larger forms are stable.
- Final accents, dimensional details, cleanup, and blocking Refine berry highlights, star rays, lobe seams and vine curls; equalize knot height, remove visible carries, correct pulled fabric and block the hoop to a true circle
