About this Ribbon Tied Witch Broom with Six Bats Crescent Moon and Floral Sprays embroidery pattern
Ribbon Tied Witch Broom with Six Bats Crescent Moon and Floral Sprays brings celestial and botanical details into a hand-embroidery composition. Study the colored design and outline together before choosing which shapes to shade, outline or simplify. The supplied guide identifies these motifs: Diagonal witch broom, oversized rust ribbon, six bats (four filled and two outlined), gold crescent moon, mixed floral sprays, leafy stems, berry dots, starbursts and curling black flourishes.
The colored image is a design reference. Thread, fabric and your stitch choices will affect the finished result. Preserve the open spaces around the smaller motifs and test difficult fills on a spare piece of fabric before stitching the main design.

Choose your hoop size
The outline pages are labeled for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 inch hoops. Measure the printed design before transfer, because printer margins and fit-to-page settings can affect its dimensions.
The stitch guide recommends 8" / 20 cm HOOP for this design.
A larger version gives fine contours and clustered motifs more room. Select the size that preserves the details you want to stitch.

Stitching sequence
- Transfer and structural framework Transfer the diagonal broom, ribbon center, six bats, crescent moon, principalflower stems, leaf clusters, berry dots, starbursts and curling black flourishes.Check the broom angle and open spacing before stitching.
- Main focal element Build the broom first. Shade the handle lengthwise, work the binding, then pullbristle stitches from the bound neck toward the lower-left tips so the fan staysdirectional and tapered.
- Secondary large element Stitch the oversized rust ribbon around the broom crossing point. Follow eachloop and tail with curved long-and-short strokes, preserving darker folds and acompact raised center knot.
- Foliage / supporting motifs Work the cream, rust, gold and charcoal flowers with their leafy stems. Keepleaf stitches aligned to midribs and let the floral sprays visually weave behindand beside the broom.
- Small decorative details Add the six bats, gold crescent, starbursts, berry knots, flower centers andblack curling line accents. Keep the two outlined bats airy while the four filledbats stay crisp and solid.
- Final accents, dimensional details, cleanup, and blocking Balance the smallest gold/rust knots, refine broom-fiber separations andribbon highlights, trim traveling threads, clean the ivory ground, then lightlyblock from the reverse without flattening knots or bristle texture
