About this Haunted House Snow Globe embroidery pattern
Haunted House Snow Globe brings celestial and botanical details into a hand-embroidery composition. Study the colored design and outline together before choosing which shapes to shade, outline or simplify. The supplied guide identifies these motifs: Night snow globe with crescent, stars, bats and haunted house; blackberry, ivy, acorn, rust/ochre leaf and curling-vine wreath.
The colored image is a design reference. Thread, fabric and your stitch choices will affect the finished result. Preserve the open spaces around the smaller motifs and test difficult fills on a spare piece of fabric before stitching the main design.

Choose your hoop size
The outline pages are labeled for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 inch hoops. Measure the printed design before transfer, because printer margins and fit-to-page settings can affect its dimensions.
The stitch guide recommends 8" / 20 CM HOOP for this design.
A larger version gives fine contours and clustered motifs more room. Select the size that preserves the details you want to stitch.

Stitching sequence
- 1. TRANSFER + STRUCTURE Transfer the full snow globe, carved base, house silhouette, mountains/trees, moon, bats and the complete botanical ring. Mark windows, stars and berry centers lightly so tiny details remain aligned. 2. NIGHT SKY + MOON Fill the globe sky in compact 310, keeping the crescent and stars open. Use 746 for the moon and selected stars, then add 729 only to the warmest star points and window glow. 3. HAUNTED HOUSE + LANDSCAPE Build the house with 844 and 3799, leaving 3865/746 for pale stone and lit accents. Use split/backstitch for roof edges, windows and doors; layer 310/3799 into distant trees. 4. GLOBE BASE + PATH Shade the stand from 3781 into 801 with directional long-and-short, then split stitch the ornamental carving. Work the path in 420 with touches of 746, narrowing stitches toward the house. 5. BOTANICAL WREATH Fishbone ivy and green leaves from 500/3051 into 3011. Work rust foliage in 920 and ochre foliage in 3829/729. Stem stitch curling vines before adding berries or acorns. 6. BERRIES + ACORNS + FINISH Build blackberry clusters with 154 padded satin/French knots. Shade acorns with 801/420, keeping caps darker. Finish black berry dots, tiny stars, window bars and leaf veins in one strand. FINISHING & PRESSING NOTES Keep the ivory ground visible between vine groups so the wreath does not close in around the globe. Press from the reverse over a padded towel to protect blackberries, acorns and raised stand details
