About this Lavender Pumpkin Carriage Crescent Moon Woodland Wreath embroidery pattern
Lavender Pumpkin Carriage Crescent Moon Woodland Wreath brings celestial and botanical details into a hand-embroidery composition. Study the colored design and outline together before choosing which shapes to shade, outline or simplify. The supplied guide identifies these motifs: A lavender pumpkin carriage with a smiling face, cream crescent emblem, warm gold ribs and ornate black/gray scrollwork wheels anchors the center. Above it floats a gold crescent with tiny stars. The wreath combines black/charcoal leaves, lavender fern sprays, gold foliage, purple and gray mushrooms, lilac berries, gold seed clusters, curling vines and pale faceted crystals; two small pumpkins finish the lower center. Artwork reference - complete composition, undistorted.
The colored image is a design reference. Thread, fabric and your stitch choices will affect the finished result. Preserve the open spaces around the smaller motifs and test difficult fills on a spare piece of fabric before stitching the main design.

Choose your hoop size
The outline pages are labeled for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 inch hoops. Measure the printed design before transfer, because printer margins and fit-to-page settings can affect its dimensions.
The stitch guide recommends 8" / 20 cm HOOP for this design.
A larger version gives fine contours and clustered motifs more room. Select the size that preserves the details you want to stitch.

Stitching sequence
- PHASES 1. TRANSFER + STRUCTURAL FRAME Transfer the full circular wreath, carriage silhouette, wheel circles, spiral scrolls, crescent, stars, mushrooms, berry clusters, lower pumpkins and crystal facets. Stitch one-strand 310/3799/414 carriage framework and curling vines first, following every curve cleanly and leaving the pumpkin body open. 2. MAIN FOCAL ELEMENT Fill the lavender pumpkin carriage lobe by lobe with 210/211/3743, directing stitches from upper shoulder toward lower center. Add 420/3828 rib lines after the fill, then work the smile in 310 and the cream crescent/face dots in 3865. Keep the body smooth and slightly dimensional, not bulky. 3. SECONDARY LARGE ELEMENT Complete the carriage wheels and scrolls: 310 for outer circles/main curls, 3799/414 for inner spirals. Maintain continuous spiral direction and even tension. Add only small 318 highlights where gray scrolls turn toward the light; stitch the pale crystal ornaments last so their edges stay sharp. 4. FLORALS / FOLIAGE / SUPPORTING ELEMENTS Work the mushroom pairs and bottom mushroom bed using 208/3740/3726 plus 414/318, with caps following the dome and gills radiating outward. Add broad leaves in 310/3799/420/3828 and airy fern sprays in 210/211, always base-to-tip and flatter than the central carriage. 5. SMALL DETAIL WORK Add lilac berries in 3740/210/211, gold seed clusters in 3045/3828, mushroom dots in 3865 and tiny curling stems in one strand. Stitch the upper crescent moon with 3045/420 following its arc, then place stars, leaf veins, crystal edge lines and mushroom gills last for maximum crispness. 6. FINAL DETAILS + BLOCKING Finish the two lower pumpkins with 210/211 and 822/3865, then add their 420/3828 ribs. Check that the carriage remains the highest-contrast focal point, wheel symmetry is balanced and dark leaves do not crowd the moon. Bury tails away from pale crystals, steam from the reverse and block flat
